About

I am an independent visual artist living and working in London. My work takes many forms, primarily painting and drawing, but also print, digital, and video. I graduated from Loughborough University with a Fine Art BA in 2021 and since have continued both research and painting that examines the manifestations of memory in contemporary figurative practice and the role of the neural bases of empathy in both the creation and reception of work. I am particularly interested in retaining the imprint of making in all mediums I work in and am constantly changing my process and media to allow for both this and continued examination into my modes of memory at play whilst creating a piece.

My current practice is on hold whilst I travel South East Asia until April 2023. Whilst in Vietnam I am volunteering painting murals and creating a fun creative space in a hostel in Hanoi.
